Therapist/Founder: Gerry Sander is a Holistic Occupational Therapist, a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), a Tai Chi Teacher, a Yoga Teacher (E-RYT), and an exercise specialist and trainer (ACE).

Gerry is a former adjunct professor of kinesiology and Occupational Therapy theory, and a bodywork instructor of Eastern and Western methodologies. He is also trained in various energy practices.

Working to create a larger platform for awareness practices, he presents Tai Chi, Yoga, and related disciplines as psychosocially more acceptable for non-traditionalists, while delivering an enhanced experience.

An experienced leader in worksite wellness, stress management, and ergonomics, he has presented/consulted for Kellogg, Medtronics, Pfizer, various city departments and additional industrial settings.

Gerry is a perennial student and teacher of leadership, he loves analyzing business attitudes and initiatives in a sometimes tongue-in-cheek or even Zen-like simplicity.

Gerry has presented tai chi and yoga therapy based continuing education as an approved certified education provider through the American Occupational Therapy Association, the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the American Council on Exercise, the Yoga Alliance, and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

1975 Instructed in Bija Mantra Meditation

1979 Began Teaching Yoga

1990 Began practice of Tai Chi/Qigong

1992 Received Advanced Meditation Techniques

1993 Instructed in Tai Chi by Chungliang Al Huang's senior students

1996 Formulated a Tai Chi/Qigong for Special Conditions through Occupational Therapy

1997 After receiving successful Ah-Shi acupressure treatment and individual professional training, began to practice clinical Ah-Shi acupressure

1996 Member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists

1998 Advanced Yoga and Qigong Training & Received Ceremonial Sanskrit Name from Baba Hari Dass: “Swarup” @ Mount Madonna, CA
